We are a web design and web development company looking to serve small and medium sized businesses in Western Canada. Based on Vancouver Island. We work with clients in Vancouver, Nanaimo, Victoria, Calgary and Edmonton and beyond!

How We Work

Once you get in touch with us, our first step will be to connect with your business to learn more about what you are looking for out of your website. Making sure we’re on the same page is important for us to ensure we deliver a high quality product that meets your standards.

Assess and Price

We’ll discuss your website needs and find a package that works best for you. We work on monthly packages or can create custom quotes for one-off projects. Client care is our #1 priority and we want to provide continual support for you and your business.

Design and Architecture

Content

We’ll work with you on the content for the different pages on your new site, and can either provide editing services, or total writing services.

Graphics and Photos

Provide us with photos for your business and we’ll help pick, edit and place photos and graphics, or choose from our premium stock photo database.

Development and Testing

Once we’ve agreed upon the design, architecture and content for the website, we’ll build out your website on our test server, and make sure that it looks good on all browsers and devices.

Delivery & Post Launch

Once it’s met the customer criteria, we’ll launch your website with it’s new URL. After your new website launches, we can either hand over the keys, or continue to work with you to keep your website and content up-to-date, and changes as you need.

Van Island Web was started by Dustin Meredith in February of 2024, and he brings with him 15 years of web development, project management and design experience. Dustin thrives when working with clients to deliver project excellence and has a passion for helping build up small and medium-sized businesses with his expertise.
